Karina Rasic
Corporate Finance
and strategy - Co-host Startup Coffee Talks Podcast
Financial strategist, angel investor, writer, and founder of Make Business Flow. Her journey into finance was deeply personal. She grew up in Argentina watching her family build a thriving business from scratch… until they lost everything. That experience taught her about resilience, risk, and reinvention, and became the guiding force behind her mission: to help others protect and grow what they've built. For over 15 years, Karina has advised entrepreneurs, SMEs, and international companies on raising capital, designing sustainable financial strategies, and global expansion. Her approach combines technical rigor with the empathy of someone who has experienced both success and loss. Beyond finance, Karina is a published author. She has written two novels inspired by her own story, exploring themes of family, identity, and resilience. A graduate of New York University (NYU), she currently serves as a part-time CFO and board member, especially promoting women-led projects with long-term impact. Her first autofiction book will be released in November 2023. www.karinarasic.com Karina is a member of: Women Leaders of America, We Invest, Women Investors, LAC Women Entrepreneur, La Red FLOR, Latitud Cohort 6, Mentor in the FI programs in Valencia, Monterrey, and Buenos Aires, NYU Alumni, IAE Business School Alumni, CREA LAB With Legalify, she has won the following awards: Naves Innovation Award - Civic House Worker Tech Award and BID LAB 2022 Wise Award Winners - Women in Technology

Finance for start-ups
and training co-host Startcups Coffee Talk Podcast
I developed my professional career in companies of different types, sizes, and sectors: Oil & Gas SMEs, national retailers, multinational consulting and financial services companies. It was in 2018 that I discovered the world of startups and their relaxed, horizontal, and disruptive way of working. During all these years, I have focused on Corporate Finance, with a special emphasis on short-, medium-, and long-term financial projections, the preparation of reports, and the modeling of economic and financial scenarios, working with founders and top management. I have collaborated with interdisciplinary teams from different parts of the world, which has given me greater openness when tackling new challenges and projects. My curiosity has always kept me constantly learning, and my passion for the world of startups, digital business, and entrepreneurship has led me to complement my academic and financial training with courses such as Data Analytics & Product Management. In 2022, I founded 2A Financial Partners, a financial consulting firm designed by and for entrepreneurs, dedicated to providing economic and financial support to startups and SMEs. That same year, I began my first steps in teaching, an area I want to continue exploring, helping entrepreneurs and people who want to better understand finance.
